These foodstamps just aren't cutting it!

We are a family of six and are receiving $672 a month in foodstamps. While that may seem like a lot to some of you, food is more expensive now and I can't get the foodstamps to last the whole month. I need some tips please!

Do you meal plan?
My friend who has a family of 8 gets 1,000. & she still manages to have enough to buy food to cook & make for people who can't afford it.

Meal plan ans use coupons. We don't receive fs but we are a family of 4 and spend $400 a month.

 FS are supposed to be a supplement, not your entire monthly food allowance!

hmmm we're a family of 7 and can do less than 600 bucks a month for food (our own money) Like the pp said plan meals look for sales things like that and coupon if you can as well

 Try doing meals without meat 3 or 4 nights a week

Meal plan, coupon and buy cheap as you can. My family only gets $340 and we're a family of 5. We make do doing what I suggested.
