To plan ahead and have everything ready when the baby arrives. That was my reason anyways. -
It's a lot easier to plan if you know what you're having.
That said, I didn't know I was having a girl until she was born.

Well, isn't finding out on the sonogram a surprise as well? You walked in not knowing the gender, and then you're told. Surprise! -
I've had a few people want surprises and I wouldn't mind if I had a boy and girl already. We wanted to know, it also helped with narrowing down names and buying clothes and what not. -
Its easier to buy the things you need and ask for things at a shower.
I knew the sex of my baby before the ultrasound.

Because we were broke at the time and needed to plan ahead, and green and yellow on a baby is not my fave. -

Nope. I always wanted to know. I found out as soon as I could both times.
