My husband and I are night and day in the looks department, hes a dark hispanic with black hair and dark brown eyes and Im a white girl with blue eyes and blonde hair. To see how our babies look when they are born for the first time, that is the suprise for us!

I hate not knowing because I dont like calling the "thing" in my stomach "bean" or "sprout" etc. To me its impersonal but being able to name the baby because you kno what it is, makes it a real human

When I was pregnant, and found out the sex, I grew more attached. I bonded quicker when I found out the thing in my belly was a he and not an it.

I don't get the "we want to be surprised"answer. I figure its a surprise whenever you find out. I was glad I found out at the ultrasound. I had a blast shopping and setting the room up. I had an emergency c-section in the middle of the night after being induced in the morning. I was having enough surprises at that point.
