my husband brother said he wouldn't be with someone like me lol

my husband brother has been texting him all day about the new gun he got, he has like 20 guns. He asked my husband when are you going to get a gun, and my husband was like you know how she is, she isn't going to let me get a gun. So his brother was like i wouldn't be with someone who tell me what to do and i wouldn't be with someone who won't let me have a gun. Mia let me get whatever i want. I told my husband good for him, and good that he don't have to be with me either. because i wouldn't be with someone who was always cheating on his wife ( exwife, he cheated on his exwife about 15 times, even with is current wife) i wouldn't be with someone who lied when we got together and told me he had no kids when he in fact had 2. ( he told his now current wife that he was single and didn't have kids, when he was married and had 2 kids, she found out about the kids because of me). His brother even tried to talk me into letting my husband have a gun. It has been like this since i met my husband 12 years ago when we met i had a 1 year old daughter, i told him as long as our kids are in the house i will not have a gun in my house, when our children grow up he can have as many guns as he wants but until they are 18 there will be nothing more than a bb gun in my house. Before anyone asks why, my husband i do not think is a responsible gun owner, right now his BB gun is sitting in my living room in the same spot it has been sitting for 2 days, i have asked him to put it back in the bedroom and he still hasn't done it, 4 days ago it was sitting on top of my washer after asking him for 3 days to put it back up, i end up putting it back up. My daddy loved guns never owned one until i moved out of the house, he got like 5 of them when i moved out. i don't like guns and i don't want them around my kids. i have thought my kids about gun safety, because of how many guns my brother-in-law has; but i do not feel comfrontable with a gun in my own home.

My BIL has dissed me over the years too... I'm sure he would never want a wife like me. Which is fine, since I would NEVER want a husband like him so we're even!

Sucks you won't allow your husband means of protecting his family. Guns are a big deal in my household. I wouldn't have married you either ;-)

just like i told my bil good thing i didn't have to marry me .

A means to protect our family, please explain to me how having a gun lock in one place, bullets locked in another place is means to protecting your family. do you really think you will have time to unlock the gun, get it, unlock the bullets and get them, load the gun when someone breaks into your house.

how is me not allowing a gun in my home setting up rule like he was a child, having a gun in our home not only affects him but affect me and my children as well. what you see as setting up rule like he was a child; i see as me protecting my children. so if it mean treating him like a child to protect our children, the so be it. I am not comfrontable with guns in my home and he knew this from day one.
