my husband brother said he wouldn't be with someone like me lol

my husband brother has been texting him all day about the new gun he got, he has like 20 guns. He asked my husband when are you going to get a gun, and my husband was like you know how she is, she isn't going to let me get a gun. So his brother was like i wouldn't be with someone who tell me what to do and i wouldn't be with someone who won't let me have a gun. Mia let me get whatever i want. I told my husband good for him, and good that he don't have to be with me either. because i wouldn't be with someone who was always cheating on his wife ( exwife, he cheated on his exwife about 15 times, even with is current wife) i wouldn't be with someone who lied when we got together and told me he had no kids when he in fact had 2. ( he told his now current wife that he was single and didn't have kids, when he was married and had 2 kids, she found out about the kids because of me). His brother even tried to talk me into letting my husband have a gun. It has been like this since i met my husband 12 years ago when we met i had a 1 year old daughter, i told him as long as our kids are in the house i will not have a gun in my house, when our children grow up he can have as many guns as he wants but until they are 18 there will be nothing more than a bb gun in my house. Before anyone asks why, my husband i do not think is a responsible gun owner, right now his BB gun is sitting in my living room in the same spot it has been sitting for 2 days, i have asked him to put it back in the bedroom and he still hasn't done it, 4 days ago it was sitting on top of my washer after asking him for 3 days to put it back up, i end up putting it back up. My daddy loved guns never owned one until i moved out of the house, he got like 5 of them when i moved out. i don't like guns and i don't want them around my kids. i have thought my kids about gun safety, because of how many guns my brother-in-law has; but i do not feel comfrontable with a gun in my own home.

it is my home. just like it is his home and our children home. and like i said there isn't anything to own because i am not controling him or treating him like a child.telling him he couldn't watch porn would be treating him like a child,telling him who he can be friends with is treating him like a child, giving him a time to be home would be treating him like a child not allowing a gun in my home isn't treating him like a child. and yea i did caps MINE to emphsized that I do live in this home as well and as long as i live in this home there will be no gun until my kids are 18. after they turn 18 he can go wild and have all the guns he want but until then no gun is coming into my home, yes my home i live here so it does make it my home.

I live in the north east and having guns and hunting are not as common or popular than in the southern or mid western areas of our country, I do agree with you around safety.

I am not against guns, but I would not like them around the house. This past Christmas a two year old shot himself to death with his parents gun. I find the story a little far fetch but non the less the child is dead. I feel that, that was extreme carelessness on his parent's part. Sound like your husband's brother is an opinionated butt. How he runs his house hold is his business but he should stay out of you guys.

 i am dumbass i think a dumbass is the a person who leave a loaded gun in a house with children, that is why there have been so many accident regarding kids being shot DUMBASS!  teaching gun safety or not.

We don't have guns either. DH was told from the beginning I didn't want a gun in the house. He agreed.
