My 9 year old daughter has become a smart ass lately. She is always pouting and one moment she is happy the next really Moody! She never use to be so emotional all the time! Is this normal because I'm feeling like a crappy mom right now???

It's normal from what I hear. My dd is 9 too and I swear she thinks she knows it all and argues with me every chance she gets. I'm about to ship her off to boarding school. lol

My daughter started at 9, now at 11 its turned to just smart ass comments and attitude.. Damn teenage years sneaking up on us. -

It is normal. My dd is 11. It does not get better. Her dr said it is normal part of puberty and that girls start experiencing pms symptoms around 8 or 9.
