He was asleep when we went to bed, and the next thing I know he's standing at the foot of our bed asking if I'm ok!

LOL. Well, thinking about my 3 year old he would have no clue what it was and probably will forget about it asap. I think he is fine, maybe be more careful next time ;)

He's young, don't mention it and he will forget about it....next time remember to lock the door

I don't have a lock on my bedroom door. We shoved a door jam underneath it, but apparently that was useless. He closed the door behind him, so I have no idea how long he was standing there.
