Elijah(5) & I made salt dough ornaments.
He thought we were making cookies, even tho I made it VERY clear they are NOT cookies. I wish I would have had my camera ready when he took a bite. haha The look on his face was priceless! He was warned!
Anyway.. here are some of the ornaments before they went into the oven, they are still in the oven so I don't have pictures of the finished product just yet.

Yeah.. well, I don't have any paint. I thought I did. I was going to try coloring with marker & see if that works. If not, I'll buy some pain tomorrow.

markers may work.. I need to find a recipe the one I used last year did not turn out well.. but I would had loved to see his face when he thought he was biting into a cookie.. hahahaha

haha I felt bad for him so I told him I'd take a tiny taste & OMG. the salt was overwhelming.
The recipe I used was 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of salt, and 1 cup of water. It turned out pretty well. I had to add just a tad bit more flour tho.
