I am the same way do to the fact I am trying to learn Norwegian and I am having a hard time with that. So for now I only speak English.

We all do. I am simply not bothered if you choose to keep yourself from learning spanish.
Hablo solo un poquito de espanol, pero entiendo poquito mas.
I'm not fluent by any means but I can get by when I need to.
ETA: I live in Texas and would live to speak Spanish fluently. It would be very useful at my job.

Imo, you are limiting yourself and closing your mind. There is nothing wrong with learning another language. -

I speak both spanish and english fluently. It has helped me a lot around here. I love being able to understand what people are saying around me.
