Mom Confessions
Why are you a SAHM? By choice, don't want to or have to work or don't choose to work?
I have one child and can't wait to go back to work once my maternity leave is over in 4 weeks, I am going crazy at home, I love my baby boy, but I miss the action and pace of my job, I am lucky that the hospital I work in has a day care as well.

i want to go back to work so hard, but its just not financially right for us... if i went back to work, i would only be able to work part time... (due to DSs disability) and working part time and day care, i would be lucky to bring home $600 a month, after taxes and daycare... for us that just doesnt make sense.
i would love to go back to work full time and work back in NYC but i cant because of DS. so i am a SAHM for another year, and then once DD goes to K i will get a brainless PT job with flexible hours, so i can be back in time to get the kids home from school

I worked with my first two kids but after the twins came along I quit to be a sahm. I hated it at first and always thought the minute the kids are in school I am sooo getting me a job. But the kids are in school (have been for a few years now) and I am still at home. My husband and I decided we always wanted our kids to have a parent at school activities and at home when they leave for school and get home from school.
I love my life. I would go back to work if I NEEDED to but if I don't NEED to, I'm not.
