It really was.
Since it was a holiday where people are gathered together, it wasn't crowded at all. I passed maybe 5 people on my hour walk.
The downfall was it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO windy (which is one of the photos where you can see the sandblasting) and I had a vision of a photo I wanted of the waves, didn't get it but I ended up not seeing the wave coming and thought that it was down far enough...well, I misjudged that and didn't realize high tide was rolling in......I was up to my knees in COLD COLD COLD COLD COLD water and cold wind. LOL that was the least exciting part of it. LOL
