If your husband/SO told you he went to a dinner party on Saturday night but it was in fact a huge party would you be pissed off?

That's what worries me. He was cunning. It sure as shit wasn't just a dinner and what makes it worse is that we have just reconciled.

I think he didn't tell me because he knows I don't want him partying but wouldn't it have been better for him to just be honest?

I agree. Handle this calmly so that you can set the tone but be firm so he's clear on the fact that honesty is essential.

If my SO told me he was going to a dinner party on Saturday I'd ask him if he was feeling alright. Dinner parties aren't exactly his thing.

well if he is going to a party, yes i would be upset.. becase he is a truck driver... so the time he is shut down,... he needs to be sleeping... and to top it off, he can not have any alchohol when he is in possession of the truck...
