I feel a constant pressure in my "pubic" area and above that. Sometimes sharp pains, mostly dull cramping. It feels WEIRD. It's been more predominant for a week now. I hate that I can't really describe the feeling.... The area is hard though. I'm pregnant with a boy, and when I went to the E.R last week they said he was sitting low in my uterus?
**FIRST pregnancy, I'm nervous & a bit confused**

Yup, that's what it feels like. It hurts just like that & it's hard to describe. It's normal to get these pains early on & later in the pregnancy.

Yes, dull aching and sometimes sharp shooting pains. That's it. If you sit too long is it hard to stand up? -

When I was around 18 weeks the stabbing pains in my low hip area was so bad I freaked out and went to the ER and they were like, "Oh, it's just round ligament pain. You're fine."
I had a hard time believing such horrible, debilitating pain was NORMAL.
I thought the baby must be dead or something.
I did have some cramping before then, as well.
But, apparently that's what I was feeling........................

YESSSS! And it scared me! It hurts when I need to get out of bed during the night to go pee, and I feel a heaviness in that area when I sit up from the toilet after going pee. *Sorry if that's tmi* Does that all sound normal? Are those "round ligament pains"??

To me it kinda felt like a rubber band inside that was stretched to the point it was about to break. My Dr said the best thing to do is just rub where the pain is and get up and down slowly.
