If you hurry up and wash it out of you after sex, does your chances of getting pregnant go down?

Come on, someone please reply. My Mirena IUD is way overdue and Im curious. Havent had the insurance to get a new one yet. Hoping to not get pregnant but my DH just ...... you know.

No. It doesn't work that way. Get plan B but it is $50... At least it is cheaper than a baby -

The sperm that would make babies would already be far enough inside you that washing wouldnt make a difference. You would pretty much be washing out the sperm that were too weak to make it very far.

Not really. Washing some out will lower the sperm count, but there are still so many that you can't possibly get rid of it all. You could try Spermicide, but chances are, some have already penetrated the cervix, and once they're through the cervix, there's no stopping them. -
Unless you're going to wash it out with a Fire hose? Then, yeah doesn't matter.

Nope, I ended up with babies 15 months apart doing that. I even inserted spermacide and it still damn happened.
