Christmas shopping at Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us. Now I'm done!

How much have you spent on Christmas shopping so far?

 What have you bought?

I have 4 kids (plus two angel tree kids) and bought my dd Disney Princess Little People castle, a Disney Princess wagon, a ball, dream light, a pillow pet, a special mommy/daughter necklace (this was just bought recently)and a doll with little accessories, plus some stocking stuffers.. Bought my boys the laser pegs from Target, Monster Fighter Legos, Halo toys, a bike helmet for my oldest, a tablet for my 7 year old and a tablet for my 4 year old. Oh, also got the Skylanders Giants (all of them) and all the new Skylanders figures. Skylanders pillows and sheet sets. Soccer gear for my oldest, Avengers toys, and a giant Iron Man doll (stuffed). Books, puzzles, winter boots, winter pants, winter coats and gloves, and pajamas for my two youngest kids.

THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!!! No wonder kids now a days are so damm disrespectful and have this I deserve it all attitude!

kids don't become disrespectful and have an "I deserve it all attitude" from having a lot of things...... that happens when they have parents who don't pay attention to them, let them get away with everything, don't discipline them and don't make them feel loved

big difference. don't put your insecurities onto those who give our children a wonderful, magical Xmas.

my adult children are very respectful, kind, giving people. And they had everything their hearts desired growing up. Today they work hard, volunteer in the community and give to those in need. They also give their kids everything they could ever want... but that doesn't mean they don't instill good values and morals, teach them about being kind, giving, thoughtful people........and being thankful

You really like to brag... First you brag about how much you spend on your kids, and now you make sure to let me know that you are helping out with her kid- have you ever heard of just doing something and not letting anyone know? That is the best form of giving- the kind where you don't tell others because you aren't trying to get a pat on the back. It feels good because you have truly givin from the heart expecting absolutely nothing at all in return.

I'm helping her out with her little man. ;)

Contact United Way and they will set you up with Toys for Tots. When my husband and I first got married this was how we had to get Christmas for the kids. They were great.

Haven't went shopping yet for my 21m old son. Don't think I will either. We really can't afford anything this year . I hate that I can't get him anything, I feel as if I failed him somehow. I hate that feeling. At least he will get a gift card from my parents for Christmas.

So far only $8 on a wooden puzzle. I'm not sure if we will have a lot to spend this year I'm hoping that when dh gets a check on the 30th he will have some overtime on it around $200 for 3 kids.
