If you have it, when did the swelling go down. I just got it done yesterday and it's hard for me to eat. I think I'm just afraid I will mess it up somehow. Anyway any personal advice on how you took care of it would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

If you're talking aabout a tongue piercing my cousin who has one said he did use listerine and drank only water. But you have to clean out your mouth every time you eat.

I have a lip piercing.. I guess it's kind of the same thing.. Lol
Don't drink beer. It has yeast and can cause an infection in your piercing.
Rinse your mouth with salt water after you eat and whenever your piercing feels sore to clean it.
Don't touch it. Dirty fingers =chance of infection. Turn it (if you must) with your tongue. -
Now I know what you're talking about eat crushed ice. It's a piercing above you mouth on the side.

It truly differs from person to person swish with Listerine or a sea salt soak. You aren't going to "mess it up" 6 weeks is the general time until it is fully healed.
