If you receive great service at an establishment by an employee do you notify the management.
I always do. If my waiter/waitress or someone like that goes above and beyond and takes good care of me or my family I always take my time to thank them and let the manager know how wonderful my experience was.

Yes. I have worked in the service industry. Too many people are quick to point out the bad employees, yet they don't take the time to recognize the good.

Oh, yes! by all means. People will always complain so positive comments are very much appreciated by the person you are complimenting and it could help them get a "leg up" in the company.
