So I induced both my children at 39 weeks, why because I wanted to so eat me. Anyway this time around my DR has asked if I would be interesting in a c-section at 37 or 38 weeks. Having never had one it seems like an odd question.
I have fast labor, like the first was 30, the second 20, and who knows this time. So the concern is going into labor at home.
So my question is if you have had a c-section elective or otherwise would you do it again? And did your stomach go back to normal?

My friend had a c section, twice actually and her stomach looked normal afterwards, it was a very small looking cut. But then again she is a bigger girl, I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

My aunt had 3of hers elected c-sections. Think she just didn't want to have vag births

And that seems like long labors mine where 9 and 5 hrs

whats the reasoning for the c-section? just for fun??? remember it's major surgery. now if say you were going to get your tubes tied at the same time because this is your last one fine. I've heard most women say they perferred vaginal birhts over c-sections. Good Luck with your research and decision

A friend of mine had an emergency c section, and shes in the Army. She said since they cut through her muscles, it makes exercising difficult. Her son is 8 months (i think) and she has a small pudge, but nothing major

How do you ask your doc to induce you early? -
Yeah she's very materialistic and the such too. All 4 of my cousins are the same
