I would certainly hope so !!! I am a mother, but I have a life besides my children. I actually think its sad if you have nothing else going for you except your children .

 Depends on each person;s idea of "having a life". I still have one, I mean, I go alone to get my nails and hair done when DH is home. I go to lunch with a good friend once a month, and I take time to shop alone FOR me! That is a life other than mom IMO, now to say being a neglectful mother, then, no.
