Probably. Not sure tho. I was only on my pills for one month before I had a pulmonary embolism.

With having just had your period, not sure if that will mess things up or not. But you need to use a back up method for conception. Your body needs a constant, steady, same time of day, supply of the hormones from the pills or you have a higher failure rate from the pills. You can not miss even one pill to get maximum protection, you SHOULD be taking the pills the same time of day every day.

Maybe I was wrong? 7 days of alternate bc.... But meh-I would use the extra back-up jic. I had my daughter bc I skipped 2 pills (oops)
