I found my dream job. Or close to it. I'm a licensed cosmetologist but I don't want to just do same ole hair at some salon. I want to help people I want to inspire people be a shoulder for them. After 2 years of searching there's a major hospital by me that has a salon in it. The salon is for patients and staff. They do everything from painting little girls nails to styling wigs for chemotherapy patients. Depending on service they'll even go to the patients room. I didn't know things like this salon existed. I'm so excited to reach out to the salon.

Exactly what I thought. By favorite people when I went to school was the little old ladies who just wanted their hair washed and styled with curlers. Oh those ladies made my days!

That's awesome! I used to work in a hospital and believe me, that kind of service means so much to so many patients. I have a friend who is a cosmo in a long-term-care facility and she loves it for the same reasons.
