What does he say when you ask him about it?
Just that he's doing what he has to do.sooo, what does he have to do? I'm courious.
He has to go get on a train and take it to the next stop, usually a 12 hour trip.

How low are your standards that a man who leaves for days at a time with no explanation is "outstanding"??
Quoting Anonymous:
He seems like such an outstanding guy though. And when we are together, I'm his priority. We've discussed kids.Well, I kinda fudged the lack of explanation.
He is outstanding in that I know when he leaves, he is trying to provide the life I never thought I'd get.
And we do want kids.
The joke is that if you work for the railroad, your wife becomes your mistress.
It does get tough somedays having him leave, but like I said, he's providing.

That expains the random calls where he just has to leave then :-) lol Though, I am sure you already know this.
Quoting Anonymous:
He is a conductor on freight trains.
That is his wife... Even though we are married, I am the mistress, at least sometimes that is how it feels.
Quoting PrissyKrissy02:
Well, what does he do for a living?

:-) Some wives and I were discussing it elsewhere, and this is a pretty common feeling amongst us. lol

Quoting Fields456:

by Anonymous - Original PosterOctober 14, 2012 at 5:50 PMNo. He's not actually. It's his job calling.
He's a freight conductor on the railroad, on call 24/7/365.
Quoting XoXo.Nikki.XoXo:
This. He obviously is leading a double or triple life.
