I figured that if I had some cheerleaders it would help me stay focused. I am ready for a big change.
I am starting out in a size 10. My hips are about 40 inches. My waist about 36 inches (I crudely measured because I don't have a measuring tape, yet). I weigh about 150 (probably more). My scale broke, but I'm going to get a new one so I can track my progress. Also, I'm only 5'2.

1.) you look great already, but good for you for trying to improve yourself.
2.) don't replace your scale. Seriously. You'll become obsessed with the number on the scale. Use your body as your guide. Use a pair of jeans to gauge your weight loss. -
