So frustrating. I'm trying to find a new job. I keep seeing these ads, they are a mile long, with a lot of responsibilities, no problem, asking for a degree, again, no problem for me, I have a BS. Get to the compensation portion, $14.00-$16.00 an hour! WTF?

I feel ya!! I am a freakin assistant after spending years in management. I hate it. It sucks ass big time. I am happy to have a job but seriously the money is crap. I want my real paycheck back. :(

LOL That is double minimum wage here. Most people would be happy with that.

I hear ya in 7 years my dh has been working at his Job they have only added more to his list of things to do. He's now a executive chef Making two thirds of what he should. When he confronted his big bosses about it they threatened to fire him for insubordination!!! PS we qualify for food stamps that's how little he makes but we do not receive them. I don't like using the system. -
Yep. I had a job offer me $14 an hour. They expected me to relocate with no financial assistance from the company. I am a biologist. I hold a Master's. I passed.

They pay really well around here and actually the minimum wage for the state is higher than the national wage.
But again...beggers can't be choosers and money is money! Well unless unemployment pays better? -
why does it matter what she does? the point is there are people who did graduate from college and would be trilled at 14 a hour some have no job AT ALL
