Every time I talk about a male co-worker, my female co-worker automatically assumes I have a crush on them or I am looking to date.
I could say "Mike did a really good job on that display" and she will be like "OMG DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM???"
The other day I mentioned that we need to hire more males. Because we do. We have 20 employees and 17 are female. 3 are males lol. So when I mentioned that she's like "Why, are you looking to date someone?"
Um, no, I just think we need to have more men on our team lol.
Then I mentioned something about a new worker who is male. I mentioned that I think he is a really hard worker and I hope he works out. She goes "He has a girlfriend so don't even think about it"
Uhhh..I didn't say I liked him!! LMAO I just said he was doing a good job. The kid is like 19 and I am 27..it makes me feel perverted to even think about dating a kid that age lol.

She's trying to drum up some gossip and drama. Shut her down by simply stating dating coworkers is a horrible practice and not professional in the least.
