We live in a wooded area and get tons of spiders in the house. I don't always kill them, but if they look wicked I do. I think they are good for the environment. That's my confession.

Most of the time yes, it's my natural instinct to kill it while muttering god damnit I need the broom it can't get to me if I kill it with the broom. Sometimes I run and scream it really just depends on the size of it.
