I homeschool my 5 year old through a charter school and I just realized it's spring break this week!
Now we will continue our vocab and math curriculums this week because otherwise we will be 1 week short of finishing the 2nd grade books when the year ends. I would much rather be able to go directly to 3rd grade next year than check out the 2nd grade books for a week before moving to third.
But other than that I want to give ds a break. The problem is he has sensory processing disorder and is a very scheduled child. I want to fill in our usual school time (8ish to 12 including a break for breakfast) with games, crafts, and activities. I hope that will give him his break while keeping the overall schedule.
Oh and his therapy has to stay in there too.
Any ideas? I also have a dd who will be 3 next month. It's supposed to rain with thunderstorms part of the week. We have a trip to six flags planned for Wednesday as well.
