I don't but I want to, it seems like it'd be so much easier if I did.  I just need to sit down & do it!

Sort of. I have a list of staples I keep on hand and recipes I can make from that, and then I usually make two more interesting dinners a week and that usually carries us for about four evenings

I have a loose plan.  I kmow in the 3 wk period between shopping trips we will have a chicken and pork chops once.  The rest of the meat we buy in bulk (1/2 cow, hunt deer), so the meat from our meals are covered.  I keep a variety of frozen veggies in the house so the kids can take turns choosing.  If there's something special I want to make, I will buy the specific ingredients for it.

Does sound like you have it mentally planned for the most part then,
NIce  to let the kids help with the meal planning like that as well ;)

That's really awesome you do that for lunch & breakfast as well,
Do you stick pretty much to plan on all three meals for the week ?
