dinnertime
April 2, 2013 at 7:23 PM
My two year old has not been eating dinner latley. i never make him anything he dosent like. ic also cut down on snacks during the day. so recently i have been enforcing a new rule. you dont eat dinner you have to wait until breakfast tomorrow. no snacks and im not making you something different. is this reasonable?

I have a similar rule, but I allow a healthy snack, apple, banana.

We have one that likes to go on hunger strikes.  We have the exact same rule over here.  I can not him eat; however, nothing else will be served until the next meal is scheduled.

Tried this last night. gave him a yogurt and some raisins. the only problem is i dont want him to think that if he dosent eat dinner its ok because mommy will just give me a snack.

I understand. My dd was very picky up until a few years ago, she's 10. Now she'll try just about anything, but it's been a long road.
