Or frying, baking etc...Do you use olive oil, crisco or other? I saw on Dr. Oz that after olive oil heats up to a certain temp is no longer healthy for you...It has to be at a warm temp not hot!
Breathing isn't healthy for you (general you) anymore.
I don't bother with that stuff anymore. There for the longest time... it was every week with eggs. One week they were healthy for you and the next they weren't.
I have olive oil for those things that I want to add a little olive flaovr to, veggie oil for most things, butter, and sprays.
Olive oil IS safe for medium heat. You can saute at that heat. For higher temps, like frying I use peanut oil as it has a high smoke temp. Cold pressed virgin coconut oil would be good too but it is pricy. I stay away from corn and canola oil.
I use vegetable oil mostly....sometimes canola and I have used a blend maybe once....If I'm out of cooking oil, I've used crisco too.
don't tell me that! i use olive oil to fry chicken!! for everything else, i typically use regular butter.
