Mom to Mom
Everytime my daughter gets sick it breaks my heart and I cry. She is about to be a year in 6 days and I still cry when she gets sick does it ever get easier???

Hmmmm...I guess I have to say no, you never stop worrying, or thinking the worst when they're sick. DD is going to be 19 in 3 weeks and is away at college. Every time she was sick this fall or winter I worried it was the flu, and she wouldn't get to the health center in time. Of course she did just fine. Last week my 1 year old, who is never sick, ran a high fever that didn't respond to Advil, so after only 12 hours I took her into her pedi. Luckily it was only viral. But still proved my worry-wart status. I think we might learn to manage it better, but still worry the same.
