OK. On the full version click on my other stuff, then my friends, invite friends and then on the right there will be an option to search for frends by zip code and such

The top right of your screen is a search bar, you can type in your state and see if there's a group on cm.

You can find local area groups by clicking on this link. Below the search box is a link that says Search by Location or ZIP Code, click on that. All groups that are tagged with your area or zip code will come up in the search.
