Mom to Mom
I know you have to or at least should wait till your child is old enough to dress them in suspenders for safety purposes. So when is a child old enough to wear them? My daughter has long legs but has a tiny waist so it's hard finding pants or shorts that fit well. She's 18 months and I can't find belts her size so I thought of suspenders but both my husband and I are worried she may too young and/or small for them. Ideas?

I was thinking after I answered that. Being that little maybe they don't sell them with the adjustable waist. I would just wear leggings or look for a skinny type fit.

Agree with Janet on the leggings & unsuspected on adjustable waist. Also, maybe stick with tunics & dresses (they don't have to be fru-fru-frilly), or even overalls.

I could never find suspenders. I just used adjustable waist bands. my son is tall and skinny. so is my niece.
