Gastric Bypass and PCP's

I had a wonderful PCP that I had seen since I was 15yrs old. Well two years ago he stopped taking my insurance. So I've been on the hunt for a new PCP. I'm getting so fustrated though. I can't seem to find one that has any knowlege about the surgery I had done much less understand what I can and can't take. The last doctor I had was just flat out a jackass and wouldn't listen to a word I was trying to tell him :( I really need to get a good primary care doctor. Anyone else have a type of WLS done and have problems finding a doctor familiar with it?

Thanks. I just didn't realize it was so hard. I mean I NEED a regular doctor just because of the side effects of the surgery yet it's been a pain to find one.
