I want mine to be medium (just past the fingertip) but with all the work I do, they break all the time. I need acrylics :( I love to have them polished (don't have to worry about dirt all the time :P), but I just don't have the patience for the upkeep.

I wear mine short with an american manicure.

I keep mine quite long, and always polished. Every other Saturday I spend the afternoon stripping and repolishing them. The only challenges I have are wiping (lots of TP, and I use my knuckles), and the keyboard (I use a full-size).
