Mom to Mom
As part of my job I attend "safe kids" meetings bi monthly. Usually I struggle to stay awake as I hear about bike or car seat safety, again. Their big initiative right now though is raising awareness regarding tv tip overs. Apparently hundreds of kids (mainly 3 to 7) die each year, and thousands more are injured, after they pull TV's over on themselves. Can't say I'd ever thought of it before. Is your tv secured? Mine is now!

yep. mine is mounted on to the stand. theyd have to pull it all over and i can barely move the thing myself. besides i teach them not to touch the stand at all, even my almost 2 year old stays away from it. -
I think our tv weighs less than 5 pounds and dd is 10 so no worries here. But good info for those who still have those big heavy box tvs.

Mine is secured along with the shelf it sits on.

Ours was and then we moved and never re secured it. The bedroom TV's have never been secured.
