Mom to Mom

So ladies i am almost 6 months pregnant with baby number two (BOTH GIRLS) and with my first i really didnt have any problems i mean the random kindey infection and cold bug and the preterm labor (she was only 9 days early after 21 weeks of preterm labor) she was healthy and had no problems at all. but with baby number two i have had 6 kidney infections (massive ones) bleeds, and my placenta is over (nearer) my cervix and the vessel that contains the blood is on my left and wraps to my right side. she moves alot but how likely is it that my placenta WILL move? ive done my research but nothing really helps me understand any experiences with this?? what happen?

I had partial placenta previa with my 3rd pregnancy, it sounds like that's what you have... is that what the Dr. Called it? I was on bedrest and I only had partial previa. by 32 weeks my placenta had moved and I had a vaginal delivery with no complications. you just have to take it easy and the dr should be monitoring you closely. I had appts with my ob every 2 weeks and an ultrasound with a specialist every 2-4 weeks. Hope this helps!

yes its placent previa but how they explained it was weird mine and babies main vessel is on the left side of mycervix and goes around it to the right side where my placenta is at, but my placenta is almost closing off my cervix completly but not all the way.. I DONT want another c section i really hope it moves ): and with my preterm labor we were able to get it under control and i was on bed rest and meds for it but other then that most everything was fine.

I had a total placenta previa with dd. It cleared by 18 weeks. The research I did online I found that 90 some percent of placenta previas clear by the 20 ish week mark, and of the ones that don't clear by then a very large portion will clear by delivery. I think it was only 3% that didn't clear by their due date.
