My 3yr old son is at that age of touching himself. Is it normal for him to ALWAYS be doing it. I mean there are times that I think he's obssesing over it. There are also times that he tells me his penis hurts, when it comes down to my DH trying to look our DS freaks out.
I'm going to have to have his DR look at it on his 4yr appointment this month...Growing up with younger brother's they seemed to touch themselves but it just seem's as though our DS does it all the time.

Natural development with the touching...but if he's having pain I would say check with your drs.

Talk to him about it being private. My oldest daughter had a touching issue also. She was obbsessed (spell) About the same age. I spoke with her Dr he told me to have the privacy talk. Good luck

I think it's normal is he circumsized.

My son is almost 9 months, he likes to touch himself, but not as much as when he first discovered it. One of my husband's nephews used to touch his penis all the time, even in public. It's normal for boys. -

Yes he is circumcised
