it's an awesome feeling! my 2 yr old has just started putting together simple sentences with signing - like "more milk please" I got supet excited the other day when he did it the first time -

I think asl is great to know no matter what. my son ha nothing that stops him from talking, he just signs as he talks.
it's one of those unexplainably proud mommy moments :)

so do I!! I actually wanted to take it in college, but turns out it isnt a popular class at most colleges

My 21 month old has hearing issues but wont sign to anyone other than me and only when we are alone. idk how to get her to sign all the time -
