Mom to Mom
So I've been living with my MIL and she thinks that Spongebob for my 3 year old is perfectly fine. Though I have asked her nicely not to let him watch it.
Study's have shown that Spongebob can cause children to become stupid.
I let my child watch TV, only ones that are edicational.
What do you think about letting your child(ren) watch Spongebob?

I'll let my 3yr old watch it occationally. Just not all the time.

Spongebob is not gonna make your kid dumb. So sick of parents blaming media for their kids shortcomings.
My kids watch spongebob all the time and are both a grade level ahead of their ages. -
Sometimes I can understand. I don't know if the studys are even true.

it's stupid, and not even funny, it was to be on adult swim not nick.
his voice is annoying, and all honestly there no one that dumb/annoying.

When I look back on the show's that my parents would allow us to watch, I would NEVER allow my child(ren) to watch those TV shows.
So Spongebob is nothing compared to Ren and Stempy, Cow and Chicken, etc.

My dd isn't allowed to watch sponge bob in our house. She's fine with that rule too so yea. She's not bothered by that one bit. I'm sure she watches it enough when she's at her dads.
