Mom to Mom
ok this may be tmi but i need some advice. i breastfed for about 4 weeks and my pp bleeding stopped around 3 weeks. my baby is now almost 7 weeks old and i just started getting this dark yellowish brownish discharge (sorry). it dont have any odor and i dont have any other symptoms so idk?? could this just be the starting of my period? its not just a little bit either, i have to wear pantie liners. my question is have any other moms had this??

Sorry I haven't. Maybe call OB to ask what they think?

Totally normal. I had the same thing and had to wear pantie liners for weeks. It was super annoying. Give it some time....my baby is almost 6 months and it stoped about a month ago. Welcome to motherhood. :)

i would call your doc and ask him/her about it. especially if your having to wear panty liners because of it.

That never happened to me call your ob. Then again I only bled for 10 days after delivery others tell me that's lucky but weird -
I think it's normal as well but maybe just give our doc a call to verify.

i asked my midwife at my checkup and she said tht it could just sill be my pp discharge but it stoped a couple of weeks ago...could it start again?

Its possible. It takes awhile for your body to adjust after having a baby. As long as your ob doesn't see it as an issue I wouldn't be too worried.

It could just be old blood coming out with normal discharge.
