Kids LOVE baking and devouring their concoctions! Today, pick something to bake with your child (and don't be afraid to make a little bit of a mess!) If your child is too young to assist in the kitchen, play with pretend cupcakes or cookies, or decorate paper "cookies" with crayons and stickers.

My eldest DD has h own apron to help Daddy in the kitchen. My middle DD loves to pretend to make us food using any kind of toy. A favorite is small, colored wooden balls that she pretends are scoops of ice cream. She serves me up my favorite, red velvet!
