Kids LOVE baking and devouring their concoctions! Today, pick something to bake with your child (and don't be afraid to make a little bit of a mess!) If your child is too young to assist in the kitchen, play with pretend cupcakes or cookies, or decorate paper "cookies" with crayons and stickers.

We're not really bakers although we like nestle toll house cookies. We do like cooking together though.

We baked the peanutbutter blossoms they are sooo yummy everyone loves them !!!

Today, I made homemade bread in our bread machine. My kids helped by gathering the ingredients I needed and pressing the button to turn the machine on.

My kids cook with me on a regular! 10yo DS always comes up with his own concoctions!

We made my Mom's famous homemade Washington Cookies (chocolate chips cookies with oatmeal) - we were making them for Christmas gifts, but we each had one!!!

Today our 10 year old daughter wanted to do Christmas sugar cookies all by herself, afterward all of us decorated them :) daughter 10, son 7 , son 5. We are also going to make edible pretzel dough and make all kinds of creations today.

We baked cookies. Read the book, " how do dinosaurs eat cookies" from the library and made cinnama- saurus rex cookies in the back. Benji (4) was a little dissapointed they couldn't be shaped into dinos like the picture but he had fun. The book was a board book with scratch and sniff pages and also had another recipe for lemon cookies.
