To get motivated to clean the house?

For me it was my daughter looking at the kitchen floor and saying 'in here's getting kinda gross.' I realized it was horrible and so I steamed the floor the next week. When my kitchen looks like it should be in a magazine, I get inspired to attack the rest of it, lol.
