My dd is 3 she started talking before she was even 1, now my ds is turning 2 in jan and he just started talking . I sometimes think that he is alil on the slow side but many tell me that it's normal ,that boy's tend to be alil behind then girl's.

Both dd and ds started before 1. Dd had a lot more words than ds early but they were both speaking in complete sentences of 3-8 words by 1.

I've always been told all kids are different. My first dd talked very early. she knew all her colors by 18 months! Younger dd was a bit slower but now she is 2.5 and says new words daily. Sentences. They catch up :) as long as the doc says its ok, its ok. :) hugs mama

Go to your health department. They will help you get help for your child. They have programs there.

I have twin girls 32 months, 2 1/2 and they are still not talking. They use a lot of words but their pronunciation is unclear. I don't have the money to take them to a specialist. What should I do?

Oldest ds was 9mo for words about 15mo for phrases 18mo for sentences.

Youngest ds was 18mo for words, 2ish for phrases and sentences came quickly after that.

If you are worried look for Early Intervention through your school district. My youngest went through them got other issues but they offer speech therapy and its free here. Good luck!

My dd started late. She's been in school and speech therapy since she was 1.

Early intervention is free until three, then the school should take over for free.
