I'm struggling with ideas this year for mine. His birthday is Nov 21st so its hard to come up with good gifts so close together.

my hubby's birthday is also on Christmas day.
so I'm getting him a wallet. for his birthday and a shi shirt for Christmas and a birthday cadr nd Christmas card. -

Our sons is 11/21 also :)
Hubby is getting ME, our youngest ds and I were in an horrible car accident on 9/11/12 and bills are mounting since I can't work right now so he is getting me.

I just bought him an iPad "just because". His Christmas gift will be small.

I think gift cards seem so impersonal though. I thought about doing that this year. So far I have came up with some good ideas (I hope).
