Spanakopita: greek spinach and cheese pie. It just came out of the oven...It smells so good, and I'm so hungry... I'm going to have a piece, I think. Right now.
I also made ('cause the phyllo dough was not going to get fresher, and about 1/2 of it was left) Pear and cheese cake --with pear mincemeat that I made last summer, on a cheesecake base. It also smells amazing!
I think I may make some soup... I'm thinking there needs to be something else to round this out. Too bad my youngest doesn't like mushroom soup ...

I opened the freezer and pulled out bits and pieces...sausage, shrimp, chicken, some bacon...chopped it all up and cooked it with onions, peppers and celery. Made a gf brown gravy and simmered it....served it over white rice! I call it trash can dinner! :P
