I know! That comes across as so rude! It's not stealing if you picked them up for your drink and didn't use them all so you kept them. I can't see how throwing them away is better, ya know?
I say keep the extra and put them in your glovebox in the car for the next time they forget to give you some :)

BTW...I guess I'm a thief too cause I always grab a couple extra straws. Because without fail, they always forget to give us at least one and I'm not going to explain to the children why they can't have their drink. LOL
