Does vacation Bible school count? We just moved so we are still in the process of checking out different churches.

My daughter has been active in our home church's youth group since she's been at my parents since the beginning of July. She comes home this weekend and I cant wait.

We have just started going back. The oldest likes children's church and VBS. She is the one that actually got us going back- she kept asking us to take her. The youngest is still in the nursery stage.

No. However, we haven't officially joined the church yet. We are just trying it out to see if it is a good fit for us.

It's a Unitarian Universalist church and we are giving ourselves some time to see if it is good for us since none of us are Christian. We want to make sure the church is really as open and accepting to all faiths as they claim to be. =)

    No, we are not Christian.

Why would you assume that all of the members of this group attend a church?

When they have stuff for kids, my son goes. He loves it. They don't really have much stuff going on for his age group though. Grades 7-12 have a ton of stuff. My son is just in the 2nd grade.

She didn't assume. She simply asked.

Why are you taking offense to a simple question?

I was kind of wondering the same thing. I dont think doing a question makes any kind of assumption.

We aren't either and we still attend. Unitarian Universalist churches welcome all faiths and religions. They just focus on being a better person and building a stronger community.
