 we've been married almost 4 years now and at first (with our first child) there were issues, all mine. I thought that she didn't "approve" of me. I think it was just that "inlaw thang." She only gave advice if I asked for it and always stood behind me. I was the jerk. She raised 4 boys, so when we had our son, I knew she knew how to raise them, so i asked and started taking advice. We get along great now and FIL is just a gem. Now she is extremely sick with pancreatic cancer. Please pray for her. Thanks
